Terms of Use

Last updated: May 10, 2026

These are the short terms for the identities.ai marketing site and the alpha waitlist. The full Service terms covering ratify.identities.ai and the Ratify Verify managed control plane live at /legal/terms.

Scope

These terms govern your use of the website at identities.ai and the Ratify alpha waitlist. They do not govern:

  • The open-source Ratify Protocol™ specification (CC-BY-4.0) and reference SDKs (Apache-2.0) — see the ratify-protocol repository for license terms.
  • The Ratify Verify managed control plane, which is in private alpha. Alpha participants receive product-specific terms in a separate written agreement. Self-serve commercial terms will be published when Verify opens to the public.

Alpha status

Ratify Protocol is in active alpha development. The protocol surface, wire format, and reference SDKs may change between alpha versions. We make no commitment to backward compatibility within the alpha series. We will commit to compatibility at v1.0.0 stable.

Acceptable use

When you use this site, you agree not to:

  • submit false or misleading information to the waitlist;
  • attempt to disrupt, probe, or compromise the site or its hosting;
  • scrape the site at a rate that imposes unreasonable load;
  • use trademarks (including Ratify Protocol™ and identities.ai™) in a way that suggests endorsement we have not granted.

Trademarks and patents

Ratify Protocol™ and identities.ai™ are trademarks of Identities AI, Inc. A US patent application is pending. The trademark and patent rights are not licensed under the open-source licenses governing the protocol code or specification; see our privacy page and the LICENSE / docs/LICENSES.md files in the protocol repository for the full breakdown.

No warranty

The site, the waitlist, and the alpha Ratify Protocol implementations are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Identities AI, Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Identities AI, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or the alpha protocol. Our total aggregate liability arising from these terms will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page; continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
